I have created a course for you, as a parent, wishing to teach your child to drive. I wanted to enable you to have the correct insights for private practice and or back up the driving instructor tuition. Learning to teach pupils to drive through an on-line driving school course.
So you are asking yourself the question, will I be able to do this? Yes, you can! In the back of your mind, you will be worried that you took your test decades ago and the test is so different and you do not wish to pass on your bad habits The course takes you step by step through each lesson and how the learner driver should approach each type of road and junction, all can be done in your own time.
Watch the lesson plans together and plan suitable places for each lesson before moving into the busier areas when the pupil is more confident
The DVSA say you should have about 47 hours of driving lessons and 22 hours private practice, which is the average it takes for someone to pass their test. If you are not comfortable teaching until your child has at least the basics you could change the hours around and still save lots of money.
